Please call the center at 410-887-5220 for an appointment. Started in 1975 Overlea-Fullerton Senior Center began as a two-day per week program sponsored by Saint Michael's Catholic Church in 1975. Baltimore County assumed sponsorship of the program as one of its Lunch Plus Sites and later expanded the program to three days per week. In 1979, the operation was extended to five days per week and it became a Baltimore County Senior Center with June McCauley as the first center director and Milton Simms as the first council president. The center continued to meet in the church. Finally, after a great deal of planning and work, the building of our current site was begun with the groundbreaking ceremony on June 7, 1988. We moved into our new 6,000-square foot building in the summer of 1989 and the official ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on September 22, 1989. The new building has been the site for many wonderful programs and fellowship! From a group of 25 people in 1975 to over 400 today, we continue to offer programs and to grow to meet the needs of seniors in the new century!
